This forum needed shniakg up and you've just done that. Great post! | Posted on Sun 31/08/14 02:55 PM |
Public toilets are essential particularly ones with baby changing facilities. If a shopper is out before pub opening hours they cannot make use of the Brunel facilities. Are there any others that I don't know of apart from of course the leisure centre? | Posted on Sat 13/09/14 10:06 AM |
I think Public Toilets are a must, good idea to have them in the car park and probably the largest car park would be best so visitors could use them when getting in or out of their vehicles but also put signs on the main street to let all visitors know where to find them | Posted on Sat 13/09/14 06:35 PM |
Yes I agree, we do need public toilets. Amazing that we are in the year 2014, all the technology any human can desire, but the facility for the most basic of our needs is denied - please, please this is so important WE NEED PUBLIC TOILETS. | Posted on Sat 13/09/14 07:58 PM |
There are thoughts under consideration re the future for toilets but,in the meantime, the Town Council have now approved the offer from Bakers Café to be part of the community toilet scheme-Great news | Posted on Wed 17/09/14 04:43 PM |
Bakers Cafe is a good location - are there signs up telling customers they are part of the scheme? | Posted on Tue 23/09/14 04:22 PM |
I agree we need the right facilities for potential visitors, I know the STIG are constantly working on repairs etc and the community toilet scheme so here's to hearing more good news in this respect soon. | Posted on Tue 23/09/14 06:41 PM |
Can you tell us where all the community schemes are and the opening times? | Posted on Tue 23/09/14 09:04 PM |
The ones I'm aware of are Bakers Coffee Shop, the Brunel Pub, Saltash Guildhall, the Railway Hotel - all during their opening hours. Perhaps the Chamber could lobby the Council to actually have a section on their website identifying the community toilet scheme members as I can't see one! | Posted on Tue 30/09/14 08:06 PM |
Belle Vue Car Park behind Superdrug have working toilets | Posted on Sun 05/10/14 09:19 AM |
The Cecil Arms is also a community toilet provider.Good idea to have them on the council website and what about including them on the town App | Posted on Wed 08/10/14 08:32 PM |
Public Toilets update: The toilets in Belle Vue Car Park are open for use behind Superdrug and Bakers Coffee House on Fore Street have joined the Community Toilet Scheme. You can also use the facilities in the Brunel Pub or Saltash Guildhall during opening hours. The toilets in Alexandra Square are not available but you can pop into the Guildhall. | Posted on Wed 15/10/14 10:13 AM |

Is it true Bell Vue are being knocked down?? | Posted on Fri 21/11/14 10:28 AM |
There is a proposal to provide a new toilet block in the location of the existing and knock down the old toilets and build a unit for start up businesses. This proposal has a long way to go before it comes to fruition but has been approved in principle by the town council. | Posted on Fri 21/11/14 02:01 PM |
